January 20, 1994 - 16 years ago - Trent and I were married in the Salt Lake Temple! It's so hard to believe that it has really been that long! We've been through so much in these 16 years, infertility, we've owned 3 homes, adopted 2 beautiful children, job loss, and just recently, an unexpected miracle pregnancy! - so many trials and triumphs!!! I can honestly say that each and every one of both our trials and triumphs have brought us closer together, made us better, stronger people, and have increased our love for each other more than we could have ever thought possible on that morning 16 years ago, when we promised to stand by each other through it all - to love each other, respect each other and work together!
I can honestly say that I love Trent more today than I could ever have fathomed when we got married! Trent, you are my everything - my love, my best friend and my soul mate! I love you babe!
To celebrate last night, my sister, Mindy took our kids for a few hours while Trent and I went out and had a fabulous dinner! We went to Sostanza one of the new{er} restaurants in Tooele...and Tooele's only fine dining restaurant! I can not say enough about how wonderful this restaurant is...fabulous food, wonderful service, beautiful ambiance...we will definitely be dining there again! And here we are today, 16 years later! Happy, better people, more in love, the parents of two awesome kids, the expectant parents of an amazing miracle baby that's brewing in my tummy!
Yes, we've had our trials, but I'm so proud of us and this awesome milestone! I'm proud of Trent and our kids. We truly are a Happy Family. (And, I'm a little weepy...pregnancy hormones...so I'm going to stop now :D)
