Things I miss!

Ok...So I'm pretty much over the major blues of homesickness, and I really do love Tallahassee! But, there are just a few things that I'm really missing:

1. My sister (still...and always)!


2. My gas stove ( I have a beautiful stainless steel flat cook top...but man, it just doesn't cook like my gas stove did)


3. $125 electric bills...Yep, I used to think that was high in Utah...but we just got ours here and it was almost $300!!!!! Yikes! Of course, the heating here is electric not gas...yep...missing gas heating! Apparantly we didn't get a clear picture of the cost of living here...as our property tax is double what it was in Utah also...oh yea...and home owners inurance...!


4. Maverik Country Store. Specifically their frozen yogurt and fresh made Jalapeno Cheddar bread.


5. My mom and Oma and Opa


6. My friends and fabulous neighbors


7. 7-11 - specifically Slurpees!


8. The mountains...specifically being able to differentiate between north, south, east & west just by looking at the mountains.

So yea, there are things that I will always miss! But there are things that I already love about Florida:

1. Our family here in Florida!! (Who have been SO good to us)
2. Warm weather in the winter - and NO SNOW!
3. A beach less than 2 hours away.
4. The wonderful people here in the south.
5. All of the beautiful trees.
6. Wonderful new friends and the hope of many more!
