When we first moved to Florida, we spent many weekends exploring our new home and the surrounding towns. We saw the gaters at Wakulla, the caverns, etc. Well, this past weekend, we decided that it was time to do some more exploring. One of Trent's employees has told him about the "Gulf Species Marine Lab" in Panacea. That is only about an hour from us, so, we headed out there for the afternoon. It was pretty cool...I think Karlee (our future marine biologist) like it the best! They had an area where you could pick up, touch, hold the "critters". Karlee had a ball picking things up and looking at them. Carson, like his mama, wanted no part of touching the smelly fish :). I did get some great pictures, though!

I can't believe how Karlee is growing up! She is such a lovely little lady now. I'm glad you are all loving Florida.
