Twilight

TWILIGHT

Ok, so I've never had the need or desire to see a movie on opening day - but yesterday I did! My friend Holly and I went to The Gateway yesterday morning and saw Twilight. It was awesome!!!! Of course, it wasn't the book - and the book is always better - but I absolutely LOVED it! Or, maybe I just loved Edward :) I am a bookworm and read a lot...so I went into the movie knowing that it wouldn't be as good as the book - and I think my going into it with that thought helped me to love the movie even more!! I thought they did a great job casting the characters. Charlie wasn't how I pictured him as I read the book, and neither was Jacob - but that's just me. The only scene that I wasn't totally loving was the meadow scene, it just didn't follow the book. But, also, I thought they did a great job showing Edward in the sun. There were some great funny moments; a little action - hold onto your seats; some awesome - teary eyed - tender scenes and some Whew...butterflies in my tummy moments! I never understood people who would pay money over and over again to see the same movie in the theatre over and over...but I definitely HAVE to see this again...and maybe again!

Whewww...Butterflies!!

.....more butterflies...

Holly and I at the theatre...the pictures aren't that great, but we captured the moment anyway.

I went to see the movie and I loved it so much that I decide to read the books. I am chapter 8 book 1. I love it.

I loved it too Tracy! I saw it twice...opening night and last night! Just so I could see it without all the screaming girls that were in the movie I saw opening night! They announced yesterday or on the 22nd that they got the greenlight to do the 2nd movie!!! So hopefully it'll come out within a year! I can't wait!

They did a good job with the first movie - but I am hoping for an even better quality with the 2nd (although Edwards not in it enough to love it, so...)
