In July the kids and I headed South (LaVerkin...near St. George) for a visit with Grandpa Russ and Grandma Lisa! It was SO hot...105 degrees. So, Grandma headed to Walmart and snagged up their very last swimming pool! We set it up in the back yard, Grandpa got his portable shade canopy to put over it, and the kids had a blast cooling off! They even tried to put Lily in...but she would have none of that!
And then...grandpa had the brilliant :) idea to take the huge goldfish out of his pond and put them in the pool...
And then, Grandpa decided that it was too hot for him also...so he got in with the kids! Isn't this a great picture?

A few days (or week...I don't remember) after getting home, I'm right in the middle of a speed scrap (see my scrappin' blog) and Lily starts freaking out, climbing up my leg, basically going crazy. Well I look down and realize that she has been bit or stung by something! Poor baby! The vet had me give her Benydryl...and then she slept for a few hours...check out her swollen nose...
Towards the end of July, we had a neighborhood party/BBQ at the local Drive-in. Trent was in Orland for work, so I took the kids. I ended up taking Carson home after only about an hour because there were wasps flying around and he was freaking out! Luckily we have great friends/neighbors, and Karlee was able to stay with them and see the movies. The movies were "Ice Age 3" and "Night at the Museum 2".

What fun pictures, Tracy! I know, it seems like summer flew by. Your garden produce was amazing from your last post...what did you ever find out about them? And, I laughed so hard at the story about Carson on your front porch...boys!!
