In August we...

Celebrated my parent-in-laws 50th wedding anniversary! WOW! What a milestone! The best thing about it was that all of Trent's siblings gathered in Utah for a week of fun and celebrating! On one of the nights, we met up at a park in Sandy for pot luck dinner and good old fashioned ice blocking! (Is ice blocking old fashioned?...well, I remember doing it in high school!)

The kids especially had a blast doing this! But, the best pictures were from us adults trying to be young again! Yep, that's me in the picture below...I didn't manage to stay on the ice for very long...and yes, my pants are falling off! Also pictured in the first page below are Karlee, Lauren, Kristen and Emma, and Bryan!

Granny even gave it a try (although, I've yet to scrap those pictures). She made it about half way down the hill AND managed to break her finger!


The page below shows Janel, Brittany, Kristen and Alyse sitting at the top of the hill and enjoying watching everyone else fall off the ice blocks :)


And, the last picture that I have scrapped -don't worry - there's more to come, is one of the whole gang taken at the top of the hill that so many of us biffed it down!
Wow! Talk about a big group!
