Labor Day Fun

For our first holiday in Florida, we went to a swimming party at some new friends in our ward's house. They are actually friends of Devin & Kathy and Mike & Annette (we are all in the same ward)...so naturally, they are now our friends too! Isn't it great how that works? Seriously though, everyone we've met here has been truly wonderful to us! We are surrounded by fabulous people who are waiting with open arms to be our friends. How great the Lord is to bless us with wonderful friends during this time when I am struggling with missing family and friends back in Utah!



Anyway, back to our Labor Day Party...the Cureton's have a beautiful home, complete with a swimming pool in the back yard. They hosted a fun Labor Day BBQ...complete with lots of good food, lots of new friends...and of course, swimming! Carson was so brave after just a few minutes in the pool...he was doing flips off the diving board!

It's still hotter than all get out here...but I love the heat! The humidity is another story...but I'll get used to it...eventually! I hear that Halloween is great because the kids can dress up as whatever they want...and not have to worry about covering up their costume with a coat...lol!
