Karlee designed her own costume with stuff she had and a few things that I picked up for her at Walmart: green hairspray, green eyeshadow. She was an "alien princess"! I think her costume turned out great! She has such a wonderful imagination. Carson was "Optimus Prime" from Transformers. I ordered his costume from Oriental Trading and it didn't come until Halloween day! It was a close call. Luckily for me, they don't allow the kids to dress up for school out here, so we didn't need his costume until the evening. I'm just glad it got here. The first thing he said when he got home from school was, "did my costume come". He loved being the Transformer Leader...he just wished that his costume could "transform".
Yes...it was warm enough for Karlee to trick or treat in her costume!
Karlee, Carson and Saige in front of Saige's house. (Across the street from us)In true Carson fashion - he was done before anyone else. He doesn't seem to care about how much candy he gets. But, when he's done...he's done and just wants to go home. It makes it nice for me because we were done by 7:30.
