35 years ago today, my mother brought me, her first born, into this world! Now that I'm getting older, I don't particularly like to celebrate, or even recognize my birthday. But, I decided that if I'm going to write about my families lives, I needed to include me in that. So, I guess I just want to say Thank You to my mom and dads. I had a sheltered, but great childhood. I feel like I have never wanted for anything. My mom was single for a few years and she always put my sister and my needs before her own. I have had wonderful examples throughout my life from my parents and grandparents.

I am so grateful for all of the blessings in my life; for parents who loved me and did everything in their power to provide for me and make sure I was happy and healthy!

I'm grateful now, to be a wife and mother. To be able to plan birthday parties for my kids, to see their joy every single day! Today...I have a wonderful, full life with a great husband and 2 beautiful kids! So....happy birthday to me!
