So, there's a story behind Lilly...I've been craving the companionship of a dog lately. We used to have dogs and lately I've really missed having one around. So Saturday, Trent took the kids to pick up my gift (the Wii fit). I KNEW that he wasn't getting me a puppy, but I secretly wished for one. So, when he came home, I said, "where's my present?" He said, "is it mother's day?" I said, "oh, I was hoping for something that you'd have to give me right away, something that licks my face and needs to be walked." Trent looks at me like, "what!!!". I hadn't really mentioned wanting a dog to him before now...although the kids have talked about it for months. So, he's like, "uhhh, sorry." I told him I knew he wasn't getting me a puppy...(I didn't want him to feel bad after all:) but that I'd really like to have one. Later that day I got on KSL.com and looked in the classifieds under puppies. And...I found her...listed with 2 of her sisters. They were the last of a littler of 5. They are half daschund, half Yorkie terrier. She is just adorable! So, yesterday, we went and picked her up! Yay!!! Thanks kids and Trent for a wonderful day! I love you guys!!!

Congrats!
I've always wanted to tell you how neat Carson is with our dog Timber. One day last summer, when we had 157 kids at our house. I looked over the ledge and Carson was taking a break from all of the craziness and was just lying on the living room floor with Timber. It was a great scene, but of course my camera wasn't anywhere close.
Ah, puppies. They're just like infants, except they don't wear diapers and they have much sharper teeth! :) Again, congrats on the new family member.
I'm glad you had a great mom's day. What cute gifts you got...especially that puppy. She's ADORABLE. Carter LOVES LOVES LOVES puppies, so I'm going to have to bring him down for a visit, if that's okay. How fun.
Oh my heck...that is the cutest little dog! I have to come over and see her. I'm so glad you had a great Mother's Day! We missed ya at "boot camp" today! :)
Lilly is such a cute name for a puppy! She's darling! How is the house training going? I don't think I would have enough patience for a dog. I guess you have to grow up with one. Oh, and I hope you're enjoying the Wii Fit... pretty fun, isn't it?
