Anyway, since most of my time on the computer is spent designing kits and scrapbooking, I decided to update you on the last 6 months with...you guessed it...scrapbook pages!
So, working backwards...
In October, we made the trek (again) to Disneyland! When we went in March, we purchased season passes...so we will be going again before they expire in March :)
It was so fun to see Disneyland all decorated for Halloween! In all of the many times that we've been to Disneyland, we've never been while the Halloween decorations were up. It was so fun and festive.
Of course, we had our share of whining and complaining! The kids don't want to go on the baby rides, but they won't go on the {fun} rides either! UUgghh! We did get them to go on Indiana Jones but couldn't talk them into Tower of Terror or Screamin'.
At the beginning of October, Karlee turned 10! I can't believe that my little girl is growing up! We told her no party this year, but that she could have one friend sleep over. Well, that one friend turned into 2...but it was low key and the girls had a good time! It's funny, because at this age, they pretty much entertain themselves...no big, time consuming party planning for me :)

In September, my mom called and said that they had promised Carson that they would take him fishing before they put the boat away for the season. Trent and I talked about it and decided to let him take one day off of school so that he could go. Well, at 10 am, the phone rings and Carson's excited voice says, "mom...I caught a fish...it's big...grandma says it the biggest one they ever caught here...it almost pulled me into the water". WOW...that's a lot for a mom to take in - in one sentence! Biggest fish! First Fish!...and Grandpa caught him by the seat of his jeans as the "biggest fish" ever almost pulled in right over the side of the boat! Needless to say, he was so excited...and he loved the fish (eating it...that is)

AAhhh...first day of school...again! Karlee started the 4th grade this year and Carson started 2nd grade. My babies are growing up way too fast!
In August, Trent's parents celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary! All of the kids gathered to Utah for a weekend long celebration. We went iceblocking, had a fun day filled with activities and food and the church...and just really enjoyed spending time together! It was so nice to have the Texas (Wendy) and Florida Ladles (Mike & Annette and Devin & Kathy and their families) here!
The next page is filled with our iceblocking adventures...yep, that's me wiping out! Granny even tried iceblocking - and broke her thumb! I guess even though we feel young (me included) we're just not meant for these kinds of activities! I think I only made it down a few feet before wiping out!
Annalise (Devin & Kathy's youngest) Kannon (Kathryn & Kent's youngest) and Carson...
In July, we had a "neighborhood activity" at the local drive in. We met and BBQ'd burgers and hot dogs and then visited until the movies started at dusk. Trent was out of town on business, so I took the kids by myself. There was one snag, however...BBQ ing brought out the bees (wasps) by the hundreds...and Carson is TERRIFIED of them. So, I ended up taking him home before the movies even started. Karlee stayed with the Clawson's so that she could see the movies! We have wonderful friends and neighbors, who are so good to our kids...and us!

In July, I also packed up the kids and headed down south for a long weekend. We loved spending time with Grandpa Russ and Grandma Lisa...even though it was sweltering there! Grandma went to Walmart and bought the very last swimming pool. The kids practically lived in it!
