Catch up time!

So by bff in Utah commented on my blog today that I’m behind and that I need to update my blog so you all know what we’ve been up to Smile!  Thanks Holly for a kick in the pants…lol!  I’ve been meaning to update my blog for…well…months Smile and just haven’t.  So, I’m glad for the little nudge!  Anyway, I know that there’s more “Utah visit” stuff that I need to post, but really…that was July and it’s now November, so I’m going to go ahead and skip the Utah visit stuff for now and just concentrate on the past few months!

We are enjoying fall – Florida style!  We have the beauty of the leaves on the trees changing colors, without the freezing temperatures (and snow) that Utah is getting!  Grace and I try and go to the park near our house at least once a week…and most days, the kids are still wearing shorts and flip flops!!!

Grace has 8 teeth, she climbs EVERYTHING, she has an attitude that just may get her in trouble when she’s older (hhmmm…wonder who she gets that from), she wants to be outside all day, every day, she loves, loves, loves M&M’s, she is doted on and spoiled by Karlee and Carson…and now EXPECTS them to give in to her every desire!!!  And of course, we all love her to pieces and can’t image a day without her in it!  I was thinking the other day just how grateful I am that I get to be home with her all day.  To see all of her little milestones and achievements!  She was definitely a shock to us…but she brings us so much joy…and I’ve decided that she is going to keep me young Smile!

Ok…so on to some of the fun stuff we’ve been doing…

We discovered a beautiful park/lake not to far from us.  Lake Ella has tons of ducks, geese and pigeons, all more than eager to eat the bread that you bring for them!  Grace loved chasing the great big geese (most bigger than she is!).

The kids started school at the end of August!  Karlee went to Middle School this year…I certainly don’t think I was ready to have a child in Middle School!  But, we are surviving Smile.  Carson seems to really like his new school, Killearn Lakes Elementary.

We signed Carson up for flag football!  He loved playing and has definitely improved!  He has one more game this weekend and then we will look forward to next season!

Karlee’s birthday!  Yes, my little Karlee is 12!  How can that be?  So, she has entered Young Women’s (and loves) it and yes, she’s wearing makeup!  Just mascara (because she really doesn’t need anything else).  It’s been fun teaching her how to put it on and see her growing up into such a beautiful young lady!

For her birthday party, she had a “movie themed” slumber party with 6 of her friends.  They all had a great time…and me…what did I learn???…not to have slumber parties until there isn’t a “baby” in the house any longer…lol!  I think that if we were still in our house in Utah, it would’ve been different because I could’ve sent the girls to the basement and not worried about them keeping up Grace.  But here in Florida…Grace’s bedroom is on the same side of the house as Karlee and Carson’s, so it was a little tricky to say the least Smile.

Ok…that’s probably enough for now!  But, I promise that there’s LOTS more to tell you (like our Disney Cruise last month).  So, I will get on the next post in the next day or two…I promise Smile
